Things To Bake – Easter Biscuits!

Yummy Easter biscuits, a perfect way to enjoy the Easter Holidays with your little ones.

Ingredients:

  • 150g caster sugar
  • 200g unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 400g plain flour
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 250g icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • food colourings of your choice

1. Mix the flour, sugar, milk and butter together in a bowl, then beat in the eggs until mixture becomes a dough.

2. Knead the dough on a floured work top for 5 minutes. Then, use a floured rolling pin to roll out the dough until it is roughly 7mm thick. Select your cookie cutters and stamp out your cookies.

3. Place the cut out cookies on a greased baking tray and pop in a preheated oven at 180c for 10-15mins.

4. Leave the cookies to cool on a wire rack. Once cool, create the icing by mixing together the icing sugar, cold water & food colouring, pop the icing in a piping bag and decorate.

5. Now relax and enjoy!
